Alpess is a stallion which is an interesting combination of the blood of the Dutch bred (Kossack Stud) MerciMurhib Kossack imported to Poland and the Polish mare Alpesa by the Białka Stud bred stallion Pesal.
MerciMurhib represents the combination of the Qatari bred - Murhib and the Russian mare Maringa. Murhib is a stallion who has triumphed 10 times in his 12 race starts winning nearly half a million Euros. This is not surprising, as he thus continued the tradition of his Saudi-bred sire Amer, who was one of the best Arabian sires in racing breeding. Maringa - the dam of Merci Murhib is a mare bred at the Russian stud in Tersk, in her new homeland of the Netherlands recognised as an Elite mare, she is the dam of both race and endurance horses.
On the female side of her pedigree Alpess combines the beauty of his grandfather - the champion and sire of champions - Pesal with the stamina of his grandmother's line - Albia. She was not only a brave mare (she ran 12 times 9 times placed in money), but she also became famous as the mother of a multi-champion (e.g. All Nations Cup Reserve Champion and Polish National Reserve Champion) - stallion Altis. The bottom of Alpess' pedigree is thus a continuation of one of the greatest female families – of the mare Algonkina, who gave rise to the famous dynasty in Janów Podlaski - Algonkina's daughter (besides Aleksja - Albia's great-grandmother), was also the legendary Algeria, who established her own family of champions in Janów Podlaski Stud.
At LovEnPeas, we love Alpes, and we give him time to turn gray, train him slowly, so that he transforms from a young, golden mane derriere into a strong, well-formed athlete, ready to win, a beautiful and brave Arabian stallion, with achievements on par with his grandfathers.
