Pinoccina's dam is Pinotage, a daughter of Lateral, a stallion bred in Great Britain and sold to Germany, a son of the Irish Singspiel, who produced, among others, the phenomenal Camerun, purchased from Ireland to Poland, who was a winner of the Grand Warsaw Stakes, Totalizator Sportowy Chairman's Award and St. Leger. Pinotage ran bravely in obstacle races on the track in Wrocław for 3 seasons, starting 13 times out of which 7 races she finished in money with 2 wins.

Pinoccina's sire whom she is so much resembling in her phenotype is famous stallion Caccini, a horse unbeaten at Polish tracks at the age of three and four and with very successful starts abroad.

Caccini has been competing in the biggest races held at Warsaw Racecourse since the beginning of his racing career. At the age of three he easily reached for the victory in the most important race of the year, the Derby over 2400 m, he won the most important comparative test, the Grand Warsaw Race over 2400 m. He had a series of brilliant wins, including the Iwna Award, over 2200m, and the Iranda, over 2000m. For all these successes, at the end of the 2016 season Caccini was awarded the prestigious Horse of the Year title.

At the age of four, the stallion did not slow down, scoring successful performances on the track in Hoppegarten and winning the Spectator's Award at Służewiec over 2400m and the Chairman of Totalizator Sportowy over 2600m. In total, Caccini earned almost 400 thousand zlotys, an equivalent of about 100 thousand euro.

However, his excellent sporting results are no coincidence. His pedigree includes horses such as Northern Dancer, Sadlers Wells, Shirley Heights and many, many other world-class stars.

Caccini's sire American Post is a winner of prestigious races of the highest rank, such as Prix Jean Luc Lagardere, Grand Criterium, FR-Gr1, 1400 m, Racing Post Trophy, GB-Gr1, 1600 m, or Poule d'Essai des Poulains FR-Gr1, 1600 m, who earned almost one million euro. His offspring successfully race on tracks all over the world, and the total amount of their winnings oscillates around 70 million euro! It is worth adding that American Post's career as a leading stallion was relatively short, and he passed away unexpectedly in May 2016, which makes his descendants even more valuable for breeding.

The Caccini stallion's dam, Courances, produced yet another offspring in breeding that earned nearly €200,000, winning 10 races on European tracks.

Both the female and the male lines of Caccini are looking great, giving birth to thousands of well run offspring with the blood of the world's best racehorses in their veins, and among them all our Pinoccina that will soon start her first training at our home training track and whenever she is ready for that she would surely appear at Służewiec racetrack!
