Merci Murhib Kossack &ndash_the first successes of our fiery champion
Merci Murhib Kossack – the first successes of our fiery champion
2024-08-31
The last Saturday of the summer holidays was very hot. Not only because of the heat, but also...
because of the sporting excitement provided by our magnificent horses, racing in the Mazovian Rytomoczydła.
Our 9-year-old stallion Merci Murhib Kossack made his debut in the P-class at the regional endurance competition organised by the Arabian Horse Stable in Olszany. Led by the steady hand of Diana Tavera de Kochanski, he covered 41.7 km at an average speed of 14.62 km/h and entered the vet gate after 4.49 minutes. He finished in an excellent second place, leaving as many as 11 competitors behind.
Merci's offspring, the young horses, also competed valiantly fighting for the best places and times.
A little less lucky this time was Elios, who certainly deserves medals. We are waiting for Elios to join the ranks of the champions, a smart and tenacious horse who, under the watchful and attentive eye of our new rider, Piotr Dybkowski, has a chance of reaching the highest steps of the podium.
Piotr, we welcome you to our family and are already keeping our fingers crossed for your future triumphs.
To the riders and their horses, congratulations on your wonderful achievements! We look forward to your future successes.

And in the best possible style, as Elberiusz gracefully stole the show in Barroca d'Alva, Portugal.
But one...
step at a time.
At the end of June, after several months of hard training under the watchful eye of Martyna Kamińska, our Elbi took part in his first international competition (CEI 1* category). There were 13 brave horses and talented riders competing, who had to ride 100 km on a very demanding, sandy terrain full of difficult climbs.
It was only after the race that Martyna admitted that she was worried about how our rookie would cope, while Elbi just had more desire and energy to go faster from round to round, and the deep sand and climbs did not cause him any problems. And most importantly, he had perfect parameters throughout the whole race.
He was simply in a class of his own and a demonstration of what a Polish horse with a Polish rider can do on Portuguese soil.

Silver medal for Alpess in international competition

Before his first international competition in Santarém, Portugal, our five-year-old stallion Alpess behaved perfectly and climbed into the...
trailer without hesitation. The result? Loading and locking took less than 5 minutes in total, so there was no unnecessary stress.
Another test, which Alpess passed with an A, awaited him on arrival. There were a lot of unfamiliar, energetic horses on site, as other competitions were taking place in the meantime. Ignoring all this, Alpess bravely rode the miles and quickly got his heart rate down.
Alpess is a passionate young horse who has just made his debut in his first international competition. In the P class over 40 km, despite the bad weather and difficult terrain, he gave it his all and finished 2nd, beating 11 dangerous rivals.
A big round of applause is due to Martyna Kamińska, who skilfully guided our champion. Both on the trail and in each of the previous stages. We keep our fingers crossed for further successes.
Martyna Kamińska and Magico de Sao Pedro on the hot sands of the desert &ndash_the results of the Al Fursan Cup 2024
Martyna Kamińska and Magico de Sao Pedro on the hot sands of the desert – the results of the Al Fursan Cup 2024
2024-02-11
This was by far the most difficult competition she has ever taken part in. In fact, the track,...
which was truly torturous in places, required constant observation of the ground, thinking and planning.
Martyna had to be careful and skillful when adjusting her horse's speed to the uneven and, in many places, very sandy ground. Sometimes they were able to go a bit faster and make up for the slipping minutes, but a good part of the route was a boundless and unforgiving desert with difficult, sinking, deep sand.
The second round was even more challenging. It covered more than 8 km of deep sand and really exhausted our pair both physically and mentally.
Yet they proved that they are among the world's top endurance racers.
By defeating competitors from the USA, UK, Belgium, Norway, and others, i.e. representatives of the real powers in endurance riding, and by outrunning the vast majority of Arabs, who after all competed at home, Martyna and Magico showed not only strength, fortitude and will to fight, but above all full professionalism, which allows us to make ambitious plans for the near future.
This year in Al Fursan, Martyna was overtaken only by experienced champions on horses specially trained for such tough competitions. A Qatari, a Saudi, a rider from the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, several Spaniards, Germans, two Italians, two French, a Swiss and an Austrian. And then there's Martyna.
Her splendid 29th place in her first desert competition of such high rank and class is therefore an excellent prognosis for us and a promise of more successes to come.

More than 2,500 km by car across half of Europe. Three flights – 12 hours in the air...
and almost as many hours waiting for connections. Fighting against time and terrible fatigue – both human and equine.
The journey itself to the Al Fursan Cup 2024 could be the plot of a story from the Arabian Nights. But Martyna Kamińska and her brave Magico de Sao Pedro have already arrived. They are relaxing, taking in new flavours, colours and smells. They watch the desert. They greet the local spirits, on whose prosperity much depends here. And they are gathering strength for the extremely demanding Al Fursan Endurance, the fifth edition of which starts tomorrow.
On 10 February, the world's best athletes will line up at the start of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Endurance Cup race. It is a 120 km route running through the beautiful and mysterious, but also extremely demanding, surroundings of AlUla. The day after, there will be a 160 km competition. This will be a tough test before the World Championships, scheduled for 2026.
The Al Fursan Endurance will undoubtedly be a great sporting celebration. The top 20 riders in the FEI world ranking, the best riders from the GCC and members of the royal family are among those who have confirmed their participation. In total, representatives from 51 countries will gather in AlUla to compete and win in one of the world's most prestigious races.
The best are attracted by the unique prize of around EUR 5 million. This is why the Al Fursan Endurance is now one of the most important events on the international endurance calendar. The organisers promise that this year's race will be an extreme battle against time and the elements. The ultimate test of endurance for man and horse, and a testament to their bond and skill.
Martyna and Magico de Sao Pedro, our fingers are crossed for you! May the force be with you!
